Renovation and extension of Farmhouse, North Wales.
The existing building was constructed circa 16th century with solid limestone walls and slate roof. Through it's history it was extended and adapted, often concealing many of the original features.
Previous inappropriate extensions were removed and replaced with building works more in keeping. The retained building was sensitively renovated, exposing architectural features. The design incorporated sheeps wool insulation, oak lintels and staircase, lime-based render, and exposed feature stonework internally.
